Seven service lines.
One managed partnership.
We do not deliver isolated services. We manage business functions, integrating legal structure, compliance, governance, fiscal operations, digital infrastructure, and capacity building into one managed partnership model.
Where most engagements begin.
Two of the seven layers carry the deepest standalone demand, and both run as ongoing, recurring managed functions. You establish the finance function first, then systematise and optimise it with the digital infrastructure that delivers it at scale. The full service architecture below is the proof of depth behind them.
The SME360 Finance Function
A complete managed finance function: management accounts, segment profitability, cash flow intelligence, and the verified record every institutional engagement requires.

"Stop guessing. Start knowing. Real financial management for your business."
Most Nigerian SME owners think of financial reports as something you produce when someone asks for them. A bank requests three years of accounts. A grant programme requires audited financials. An investor wants to see a financial model. The report is then assembled urgently, from records that were not maintained with reporting in mind, and the scramble itself reveals the problem. Reports produced reactively for external parties are not management tools. They are compliance documents assembled under pressure, frequently from records that are incomplete, unreconciled, or structured in ways that produce totals but no insight.
The result is a business running on aggregate numbers that answer none of the questions that actually drive strategic decisions. Revenue is β¦50M, but which product line generated it? Which customer drove it? Which location was profitable and which consumed margin without return? Which project delivered a positive return and which destroyed cash quietly? What is the revenue concentration risk, does one customer account for 40% of income, creating a commercial vulnerability that appears nowhere in a standard P&L? What is the cost structure, which costs are fixed, which are variable, and where is cost creep happening that the aggregate expense line conceals?
The institutional dimension is equally critical. Every bank, DFI, equity investor, development partner, strategic collaborator, and institutional stakeholder requires both management accounts and audited financial statements as inputs to their assessment, and not interchangeably. Management accounts establish the current trading position and recent performance trend. Audited financial statements validate the historical record and establish institutional credibility. Financial models and funding applications draw their assumptions, projections, and risk analysis from both. A financial model built on aggregate, unverified totals is unverifiable by any sophisticated counterparty, it will be identified as such and the engagement will stall. The quality of every financial model, business plan, and strategic growth projection is entirely determined by the quality of the underlying financial record it is built on.
SME360 runs your complete fiscal function as an embedded, professional, ongoing service, not a periodic accountant visit. The deliverable is not a set of accounts. It is operational financial intelligence, produced on a defined schedule, that allows management to run the business on evidence and engage any institutional counterparty with confidence.
Financial & Digital Infrastructure Deployment
"We don't just install QuickBooks. We engineer your financial visibility infrastructure."
Most businesses that "have QuickBooks", or Sage, Zoho Books, Odoo, or any ERP, are using a fraction of its capability: basic income and expense recording with no structure, no reporting hierarchy, and no connection to the management decisions that matter. The platform is almost irrelevant. The configuration is everything. The chart of accounts is misconfigured. Class tracking is not enabled, so profitability by product, location, or division is impossible to extract. Projects are not costed, so job profitability is invisible. Bank feeds are unreconciled. The result is a system that produces an aggregate P&L and nothing more, and that aggregate P&L cannot answer any of the questions that drive real management decisions.
The financial infrastructure configuration is not a technical exercise. It is the architecture that determines what management intelligence can be produced, and therefore what decisions can be made on data rather than instinct. A properly configured financial system with class tracking, location tracking, and project costing enabled produces the segment-level profitability analysis, concentration risk visibility, and cash flow intelligence that management reporting requires. A poorly configured one produces totals. SME360 configures, manages, and where necessary rescues cloud accounting environments as a professional service. The software is a tool. The financial intelligence it enables is the deliverable.
Structure & Corporate Foundation
"Start right. Register properly. Build on a legal foundation."
Structure precedes everything. The reality of the Nigerian SME landscape is this: a significant number of businesses are not registered at all, operating informally, transacting through the owner's personal bank account, with no legal entity, no separation between personal and business liability, and no institutional identity. A second group is incorporated, but incorrectly, wrong entity type for the ownership structure, shareholding arrangements that do not reflect actual beneficial ownership, missing MEMAT and Articles, or post-incorporation documentation never completed after registration. A third group is structurally sound on paper but has never maintained their documentation, annual returns unfiled, directors not formally updated, share registers non-existent. In all three cases, the exposure is the same: tax liability, investor barriers, governance vulnerabilities, and a legal foundation that collapses the moment a bank, DFI, or institutional partner looks closely. SME360 builds and maintains your legal foundation as a professional, ongoing service, starting from wherever you actually are.
Statutory Compliance Management
"Compliance is not a checkbox. It's the difference between open and closed."
Most Nigerian SME owners think of statutory compliance as a cost, something to manage, minimise, and deal with when it becomes urgent. That framing is expensive. Statutory compliance is a strategic asset. It is the baseline qualification for every institutional opportunity a business will ever pursue, and its absence is a silent disqualifier that most businesses never see coming. There is a second, less visible dimension of compliance risk that most Nigerian business owners are entirely unaware of. The EFCC's SCUML framework designates a broad category of businesses as Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions, DNFBPs, that are legally required to register and file returns regardless of whether they handle client funds. The scope is broader than most business owners realise. Real estate businesses, law firms, accounting and audit practices, management consultants, hotels and hospitality operators, car dealers, supermarkets, construction companies, mechanised farming operations, betting and gaming businesses, dealers in luxury goods and precious metals, and many others. NGOs form a distinct class within the framework, required to register regardless of profit status. The list extends further still: the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022 empowers the Minister of Trade and Investment to designate additional categories at any time. If your business handles significant cash transactions or operates in a sector with high-value client dealings, the question is not whether SCUML applies to you in principle, it is whether anyone has ever told you. Most of these businesses have never been told they are within scope. Many registered once and never filed the required ongoing returns and reports. When the EFCC comes knocking, the response is almost always the same: βWe are not into anything illegal.β That is almost certainly true, and entirely irrelevant. SCUML non-compliance is a structural violation, not a moral one. The EFCC does not need to prove wrongdoing. It needs to prove that you were required to register and did not. SME360 identifies your SCUML obligations, registers your business correctly, and manages your timely filings of relevant returns and reports as and when due, or advises and guides your team, as a permanent ongoing function. Before the letter arrives, not after. Consider what poor compliance actually costs. A DFI funding programme requires clean SCUML and valid TCC: a non-compliant business is removed from eligibility before its application is reviewed, not rejected on merit, but eliminated on qualification. A commercial bank credit facility requires SCUML and TCC as documentary prerequisites: without them, the application cannot be submitted. A government contract or public procurement award requires PENCOM compliance certificates and TCC as mandatory submission documents: non-compliance means automatic disqualification. A development partner or corporate grant programme runs compliance checks as a first filter: a business with lapsed filings does not get to the assessment stage. A prospective equity investor reviews compliance as part of initial due diligence: accumulated lapses signal operational indiscipline regardless of revenue performance. Strategic business partners, collaborators, and joint venture counterparts increasingly run compliance checks before formalising any working relationship, a non-compliant business is quietly removed from consideration before a conversation begins. And none of this includes the direct costs, NRS (formerly FIRS) penalties and interest compounding on unfiled returns, PENCOM and NSITF surcharges accumulating on unremitted contributions, CAC debts accumulating on unmanaged annual returns, CBN-directed account restrictions on businesses that have not fulfilled their SCUML reporting obligations. SME360 owns your entire regulatory calendar, proactively, ahead of every deadline, as a managed ongoing function. Not reactive. Not urgent. Continuously managed.
Governance, Internal Controls & Policy Development
"Build the systems that make your business governable, auditable, and scalable."
If the business stops when the CEO travels, you don't have a company, you have a founder with employees.
Most SMEs hit an invisible ceiling when the founder's knowledge and judgment can no longer be replicated or delegated. No documented processes. No internal controls. Financial decisions made informally. Fraud risk rising quietly. Every time a key person leaves, institutional knowledge walks out with them. SME360 designs and implements the frameworks that change this permanently.
SME Development & Institutional Partnerships
"End-to-end technical assistance for SME-facing programmes."
SME360 collaborates with DFIs, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate foundations as a credible technical partner, deploying the complete infrastructure stack from business registration and structural enablement through governance, compliance management, financial systems, and capacity building that transforms SME beneficiaries into bankable, transparent, and scalable enterprises. Most programmes begin mid-sequence, after registration, assuming structure. SME360 starts at the foundation and builds through. We do not advise from a distance. We deliver, embedded in the programme, accountable for results.
SME360 Academy
Capability Infrastructure for Institutional Performance.
Most businesses do not fail because of lack of effort. They fail because the internal capability required to operate with structure, compliance, financial discipline, and governance is absent, and no one has built it. SME360 Academy exists to close that gap: transferring the operational capability required to implement, maintain, and evolve the systems that make a business governable, compliant, and financially visible, not just delivering a service, but building the capacity to sustain it.
The SME360 Academy exists to solve that problem, for businesses, for teams, and for individual professionals who want the capability that changes what is possible in their careers.
This is not classroom learning. It is the transfer of operational capability required to build and run structured, compliant, and scalable enterprises.
Unlike conventional training programmes built around theory and certification, every SME360 Academy programme is built directly from real operational engagements, institutional frameworks already deployed in live business environments, and the regulatory and financial realities of the Nigerian business context. We do not teach concepts. We build the internal competence required for financial visibility, regulatory compliance, governance discipline, operational control, and institutional readiness.
The Academy is built for the business owner who wants to understand and interrogate their own numbers, make decisions with financial and governance rigour, and stop being dependent on advisors for information they should be able to read themselves. It is equally open to students building career capital, working professionals seeking advancement, and practitioners developing independent advisory capability. Programmes are available for individual enrolment and organisational cohorts, at pricing designed to be genuinely accessible.
Core Capability Tracks
Build the internal systems required to generate reliable financial information, understand business performance, and support management decisions with data, not instinct. After this programme, a business owner can read a management account, identify a margin problem before it becomes a cash crisis, and walk into a bank or DFI conversation with financial clarity rather than anxiety.
Outcome: Structured management accounts, cashflow visibility, and decision-ready financial data.
Establish the capability to maintain continuous statutory compliance, meet regulatory obligations confidently, and eliminate the structural exposure that silently disqualifies businesses from institutional opportunities. SCUML, TCC, PENCOM, NSITF, CAC annual returns, not as isolated tasks, but as a managed compliance system the business owns and operates.
Outcome: Compliance calendar, documentation structure, and audit readiness.
Develop the internal structures required for decision clarity, accountability, and risk control, the governance infrastructure that separates institutions from owner-dependent businesses. Approval frameworks, SOPs, internal control architecture, and the policy suite that makes a business auditable, scalable, and investor-ready.
Outcome: Clear authority structures, accountability systems, and governance-ready documentation.
Enable businesses to implement the right financial and operational tools, integrate systems that produce management intelligence, and eliminate the inefficiency of running a growing business on informal processes. System selection clarity, QuickBooks Online and ERP configuration, process optimisation, and the digital infrastructure that makes operations visible and scalable.
Outcome: System clarity, process efficiency, and reduced operational friction.
Prepare businesses for the conversations that growth demands, funding applications, DFI programmes, equity investors, strategic partnerships, and government procurement. Structured documentation, bankability preparation, organisational design, and the financial track record development that makes a business credible before the first due diligence question is asked.
Outcome: Investor readiness, organisational clarity, and a scalable institutional foundation.
Most businesses do not need more information. They need the capability to implement what they already know.
